After an accident, you may be suffering from whiplash injuries with pain or stiffness to your neck, shoulders, arms or back, which can significantly affect your daily life. Physiotherapy is the most successful form of treatment to help manage pain and speed up your recovery, and may involve movement and exercise, manual therapy techniques and general advice, depending on your needs.
After a road traffic accident, you may develop symptoms such as travel anxiety, flashbacks, stress, insomnia or depression which can have a long term effect on your daily life. These symptoms can be treated by having Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, a type of talking therapy, which helps with understanding thoughts and feelings that can influence your behaviour.
Any treatment you receive will be absolutely free and will be claimed back for you by your solicitor.
We have clinics throughout the UK, so always aim to book you in for treatment within 5 miles of your location. We also offer telephonic CBT treatment for those who are unable to travel.
You are able to choose each appointment time and date according to your schedule to make things as easy for you as possible. If you cannot attend a booked session, just call us on 0161 888 4447 and we will cancel and rearrange this for you. You may be charged if you do not attend an appointment, so try to make sure you cancel any sessions you can’t attend at least 24 hours before the appointment.
If you wish to bring a friend or family member to your sessions, you are free to do so.
If you are in the middle of receiving treatment and do not feel any more sessions are necessary, please call Medical Care Clinics on 0161 888 4447 so we can cancel your remaining sessions, and update your Solicitor.
If you are already having physiotherapy or CBT, you need to finish this treatment before any can be arranged by us.

By Solicitors:

There are two ways to send an instruction to us, either directly from Proclaim, or via our website. If instructing from Proclaim, there will be an “Export Treatment” button on the Medical Services Provider screen. Once this is pressed, we will receive your instruction within 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can go to our website www.medicalcareclinics.co.uk, select the “My Account” option, and login to your account using the details provided to you when you signed up. From here, you can choose to add a case to set up your new instruction.
Our medical experts cover the whole of the UK, from the south coast of England, to the north of Scotland, and even Northern Ireland. This means your clients would generally not be required to travel more than 5 miles.
Whilst we offer an extremely efficient service, timescales for receiving each report can vary depending on the case type. For rehabilitation cases, reports are usually sent out within 24/48 hours of the appointment, whilst holiday sickness and industrial disease reports are typically with you within 2-4 weeks of the appointment.
You are able to log onto your online account to see the current status of each rehabilitation case. Alternatively, if you call Medical Care Clinics on 0161 888 4447, you will be put through to a dedicated case handler who will be happy to provide you with a detailed update on how the case is progressing.
